My name is Jacklyn Cinnamon, I recently got my MFA in Scenic Design at Boston University. 

 

    I went to undergrad at the University of Northern Colorado and was in the Theatre Design and Technology program. My declaration was in Scenic Design and had a second emphasis in Stage Management. I graduated May 2022 and Scenic Designed at Stagedoor Manor before moving to Boston.

    While working at the University of Northern Colorado, my responsibilities included working in the paint, carpentry, and prop shops. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to be the Scenic Designer for The Flick at UNCO’s Norton Theatre. My other accomplishments include being Stage Manager for The Heiress, Assistant Charge Artist for Cabaret, Assistant Stage Manager for First Date, Assistant Stage Manager for House of Bernarda Alba, and Wardrobe Master for The Imaginary Invalid. The opportunity of being an Assistant Scenic Designer for Macbeth with J. David Blatt aided me greatly.
